First, lets hope you are right. But what if you are not?
What if we are going into a time much worse than Nazi Germany in WW2? What if what we are facing is what happened to the Jews? Look at the harm you have done to yourself, your families and others.
Wouldn't it be wise to be prepared to be ready to lay down your life for your faith and love of the Son of God regardless of what happens? You would certainly be ready to be "raptured" at any moment with nothing attaching you to this life to hinder your entering into the LIGHT.
"It may come as a surprise but the doctrine of the (pre-trib) Rapture is not mentioned in any Christian writings, of which we have knowledge, until after the year 1830 C.E. Whether the early writers were Greek or Latin, Armenian or Coptic, Syrian or Ethiopian, English or German, orthodox or heretic, no one."
It is generally understood that the reference to the "last trumpet" that signals the raising of the dead and the living being taken in the twinkling of an eye to meet Christ in the clouds is referencing His Second Coming that occurs at the very end of this age which is the end of what we call the Tribulation. It may be wise to accept and prepare ourselves and others for that probability so we can continue in faith and endure to the end. Jesus never taught a "easy way out" when following Him. He taught and exampled the opposite. So did the Apostles, the first believers and many generations after them. We have no other "Christian" example given to us. Here are a few of the scriptures on the subject ... "By the word of the Lord, we declare to you that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord" ... "Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed-in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." ... "Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever”.
Followers of Jesus Christ from the first ones then throughout history right up to tens of thousands right now to this very day in Africa, Middle East, China, Russia, India, Indonesia all around the world have not been raptured so they can escape persecution of the worst kinds. Are they not part of the Body of Christ? Are they somehow less worthy than us? Why do we think in the USA that we could not possibly experience similar persecution and suffering at some time in the near future? The scriptures teach if we experience persecution and suffering it is for our perfection. We should never seek it but if it is God's will then we are to embrace it with the strength He gives us and overcome by our testimony and faith in Him. He promises us to not concern ourselves with what to say at that time as He will give us a wisdom to speak His message. I encourage you to read Foxe's Book of Martyrs for a historical account of the continual barbaric waves of persecution.
Any and all scriptures that are used to teach a pre-trib rapture can be translated or understood to not teach that and can be challenged by one of more other scriptures that tell us to prepare to be persecuted, especially during the Tribulation. In fact it's stated that the Dragon, Satan and the Beast are given a time of power to make war with the saints and kill them. There is a vision of that group under the throne of God worshipping Him during the end part of the Tribulation.
I urge you to read all the scriptures on this subject. Read the Book of Revelations over many times, especially the sections dealing with the saints, their persecutions and how they over come. It's not easy to understand but if you ask God for understanding and diligently study your questions will be answered and your faith strengthened. The best part of Revelations is the ending. A New Age where there is no hatred, war or killing! The Son of God establishes the Kingdom of God on earth. Mankind is lifted up to a higher level, walking in peace and love with God, each other and all of nature.
